YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator)

YARN, short for Yet Another Resource Negotiator, is the resource-management layer used by Apache Hadoop to distribute computing resources across applications in a cluster. It separates resource management from data processing so multiple processing frameworks can share the same Hadoop infrastructure.

YARN coordinates applications through components such as the ResourceManager, NodeManager, and ApplicationMaster. This architecture allows large data-processing jobs to request CPU and memory dynamically while the cluster schedules workloads and tracks their execution.
