Keep Flask backends simple

We build production-ready React applications for complex products and business workflows. Each application is structured for performance, maintainability, and clean integration with the systems behind it.

For applications that need multiple environments, extensions, or test isolation, we structure Flask around an application factory rather than a single global instance. Extensions are initialized deliberately, blueprints define cohesive route groups, and configuration is injected per environment.

Flask leaves persistence choices open, so database architecture has to be explicit. We integrate SQLAlchemy or suitable database clients with controlled sessions, transaction boundaries, migrations, indexes, and connection-pool settings.

File processing, notifications, external synchronization, report generation, and other long-running work should not occupy a Flask web worker.

Older Flask applications often accumulate global state, circular imports, unstructured configuration, oversized route modules, and tightly coupled extensions. We modernize incrementally by introducing factories and blueprints, separating business logic, upgrading dependencies, improving tests, and replacing brittle initialization patterns.

Production Flask performance depends on more than route code. We tune Gunicorn worker strategy, request timeouts, reverse-proxy behavior, connection pools, container resources, and health checks around the workload.
