Modular Monolith

A modular monolith is a single deployable application organized into strongly separated internal modules with explicit boundaries. In distributed software, it often affects service boundaries, data flow, failure handling, network behavior, and the operational complexity teams must manage. It also gives teams a clearer basis for comparing implementation options and deciding where the concept fits in a production system.
